You can always go to court but if he is meeting the courts order for child support it may be hard to get any help if he is financially strapped. Your sister could probably get assistance/loans for college which, in the long run, might help her appreciate her education more.

Your dad is under no legal obligation to pay for university... Once you're overage he no longer has to pay child support or for anything else... And no, you cannot take your dad to court, your mother needs to do that since the child support goes to her and not to you... I know it isnt fair, but instead of suing him (which probably wont get you too far), why dont you talk to him face to face. I mean you are his children. He's only hurting you by not paying for school.

Child support
I want to take my dad to court for child support. When I was a baby, he paid 50 each for me and my sister. I'm 17 now and he only pays 260 each. My mom doesn't have a job, and my step-dad works like 3 days a week, they don't need to work really cause he...
owns a lot of land. The only way my dad knows this is cause I think he's looking at my parent's bank stuff cause he works for the bank. anyway, he's always calling my mom saying that he shouldn't have to pay anymore cause hes almost bankrupt, he wont pay for either my or my sisters university, I don't care about mine cause I can pay it, but my sister really deserves the help from him. my stepdad can't pay a lot cause he has 3 kids himself. anyway, it's a super long story but I want to know..is there any way I can take my dad to court?
