I prefer to breastfeed. It was his sole source of nutrition until he was 4 months old. I breastfed until my son was 7 months old. Then he got teeth. I tried to suffer through the gnawing and grinding, but he made me BLEED for goodness sake!
So the cute little chainsaw has been weaned over the past three weeks.
I desperately miss it though- it's like such a special thing has been destroyed.

I breastfed my first.
Complications kept me from breastfeeding my second.
My third was breastfed for a little while, but because I was malnourished, she ended up with jaundice and was put on formula.
To answer the question, I prefer to breastfeed, but it's not always an option.
