Chicken or egg?

My dad always says this what comes first the egg or the chicken? does any one have an answer??

lol I dont think there is a wrong or right answer to this
I believe that the egg came first

theres also another saying similar to this one
is the glass half-full or half-empty
but this one is more to do with how you see life.

Its basically just your opinion. I personally think the chicken came first.

The chicken evolved from an earlier form that was similar but not quite the same. that earlier form had a mutation in it's DNA either in it's gametes, or in the egg DNA itself.
So the egg had to come first.

wow, bimjob, I always figured the chicken cause the egg wud of came from nothing, and it wud b unborn, so the chicken came 1st (God made the animals), then the chicken had the egg.
however, I it also depends on how you look at it, do you mean the egg of the chicken, or any egg on earth? cause it depends if any egg-bearing animal came before the chicken, which I think many did, so my final answer is, the egg came 1st, tell this 2 yur dad, lol=D

also, ilovemetal23, it depends on how you see life and on the wut happened to the glass to describe it as being half-full or help-empty:
1)let's say someone is pouring you a glass of juice and they pour you half a cup of juice, then the glass is half full
2) if the same person pours you a full cup of juice, then you drink half, it could b described as half empty, but this is all based on my reasoning=D

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

The egg

It was laid by the female of a species. During its development it developed one or more evolutionary traits that started its distinctiveness as being a little different from the creature that laid it.

Those traits aided in its survival and growth and were therefor passed on to future generations.

Future generations kept evolving with additional survival traits until eventually the complete chicken had evolved.

But it still had to come from an egg, so the egg came first!
