YES, IT CAN HAPPEN AFTER YOUR HYMEN BREAKS , YOU ARE ENGAGING IN S*XUAL INTERCOURSE , SO WHY WOULDN'T YOU GET PREGNANT?

ABSULTELY NOT TRUE! The fact the hymen has been torn is a clear sign that you are engaging in sexual intercourse. Although there are a couple of reasons your hymen can tear, using sexual toys and vigorous excersise are less common causes for the hymen tearing, the most common reason the hymen tears is penetration. If you are having unprotected sex, you CAN get pregnant. Please take precautions in preventing pregnancy if you are not ready to have baby. There are several options available. Discuss these options with your doctor to see which course of action is the best for you. The safest birth control is always abstinence!

If your hymen is torn during intercourse then you will be more likely to get pregnant if you are not using protection! You will have lost any type of barrier to the cervix which is where all the "magic" happens when someone becomes pregnant. Hopefully you will be taking a health class in school but they way things work is that when you have sex, if a man ejaculates into you then his sperm will "swim" up through your cervix and into the uteris and if the female has released an egg from the fallopian tubes the sperm will go toward that egg and try to fertilize it. A woman will become pregnant if the egg is fertilized. Protection is a must, especially when you are young and unwed. There is no other fool proof way to prevent a pregnancy from happening. You can become pregant even if your hymen is still in tact as well. You will need to read a book about it or take a health class in school and tell your friend the same thing. Abstinence is the best way to prevent pregnancy. You are too young to be thinking about sex in the first place, wait until you are really in love and you are older, graduate high school first at least. What you are doing now is just experimenting and you are gambling with your life and also possibly a child's life. Just don't do it! It makes me very sad to see all of the young ladies on this website talking about sex and pregnancy and the majority of you are still in high school or even younger than that! I wish that the world was not so corrupt, but the fact is that media and television and movies have all become terrible influences on the youth of this world and all they are thinking about is sex. When you are young and you have sex with someone that you feel love for and then he breaks up with you your heart will be broken and it will be ten times worse because you felt that love feeling for him and he was just a horny teenage boy. The boys do not care as much as the girls do and for them it is not an emotional feeling. Trust me, I know all too well. And I know what it's like, I was there. I was the girl that everyone talked about. All of the boys lied to me and said they loved me just to get into my pants and then they dumped me for another girl, and then all of the girls talked trash about me and hated me for being such a "slut" I would never wish that on another human being because it was very painful. I am in a wonderful, loving relationship now and I have been for three years and we do not put sex first. We love each other very much and sex is just a bonus and something that we do when we want to express our love for each other. But still we do it carefully and with protection because we are not ready for children yet. Please learn this early on, sex is not love. I am not speaking to or about you directly and this may not even apply to you, but I hope that this message will get to the young women who use this website.
Thank you
-Mandy

No, that's not even remotely true. The hymen has nothing to do with pregnancy.
