Chemistry

hey Asked by beccaj about 1 month ago,

im a sophomore in high school and I stupidly decided to take chemistry honors instead of regular (I took regular biology last year and found it to be a comfortable level) and it's only been about 2 and a half weeks but I can already tell I wont be very...

successful in this class and its just really hard for me already (and we havent even gotten to the actual chemistry part yet). I really want to switch out of honors into regular but the deadline was the end of september to transfer out and its already october (plus my mom probably wouldnt let me switch anyway) so that's not an option, and we also cant afford to pay for a tutor, so I was wondering how I could become more successful at chemistry by myself so as to get an A or at least a B (I've never gotten a C and really dont want to)

p.s. just for extra background knowledge, my teacher's kind of a b***, she yells at you whenever you ask a question and makes you feel stupid, plus shes really confusing and doesnt really teach, she just tells us to read the book and she takes points off for every tiny thing thats not completely correct
