Leukemia/Lymphoma society. My dad (died when I was 2 years old) and my step dad (died this past May) both had cancer. I hate cancer.

Both my wife and I worked with the Leukemia/Lymphoma society. She did two of their centuries and we both worked as volunteers for another century. The Leukemia/Lymphoma society is very well organized and certainly a good group to work with because you can have a great time and help a worthy cause.

I've been a member of Amnesty International for the last 15 years. They have done a lot of work over the years putting pressure on governments and groups to stop torture, free political prisioners, and give wrongly accused prisioners a fair trial.

I don't know what charities they have in australia.
cancer, animal/child neglect are good ones.
