Find a Christian church in your area and go. What made you decide to change? There are some big differences in these two religions like reincarnation. Christians don't believe in reincarnation. and the idea of only one God.
read the bible. that's a good place to start. and online study of scriptures. Accepting Jesus as your personal savior. What other religion is so loving? Salvation is a free gift without works. God makes is easy and we make it so difficult.

Go to a Christian church to take classes to convert and be baptized.

I was told by a catholic priest who lived for decades in your country that the whole of the christian doctrine fits snugly into the Hindu religion. I am sure that Mahatma Gandhi would have agreed...

There are thousands of Christian denominations with no overseeing authority. If you just start calling yourself a Christian, then you are a Christian.

Beyond that, you might want to consider reading the Bible so you'll know what it is you've bought into.

I would suggest praying to jesus and ask him to direct you to a church that is led by the spirit of god and teaching the truth there is only one name under heaven by which men must be saved thats jesus acts 2 38 bascly lays out the plan of salvation repent be baptized in the name of jesus for the remission of sins and then you shall recive the gift of the holyghost I would suggest going to a apostolic/pentecostal seviceor a holliness church is where I found truth but begin to pray and seek direction from jesus and he will lead you

Why do you want to change? If it is because you really love Jesus and have understood that he your savior then all you have to do is a small prayer and in your own words tell him that you accept him as your savior and invite him to dwell in your heart. That's it you are a Christian. As for church you can go to any bible preaching church. Baptism you can accept in any church because it establishes a relationship between you and Jesus and not the church. (Only one word of caution - Do not visit a catholic church for this purpose.)

You if want to become a Christian for some other I have no advice.

If you really want to change your religion to Christianity, I'd investigate different churches to see which one fits you.
If your religion which is Hinduism, I'm sure they wouldn't say anything against you for changing religions. Just visit different churches like I mentioned and you choose which religion would be right for you. You can also research the many different Christian dinominations and see which one you'll like to join. Good luck, and its possible to change religions. No one should stop you from doing that either.
