Change sound on aim

I know how to change my sound from the options, but if I want something different, like tokio hotel or something, is there any way to get that to play when I send a message on AIM?

You can have it play on *your* computer, but not to other people unless they set the same thing.

You can go to your preferences and then sounds. there should be an option that has the sound choices (usually the windows/sounds folder). Click browse and find the file you want.

this isn't really an answer, but where do you change the classic door sound effect to a personal sound file from your computer? like, the sound when you and your buddies sign on and off.

for example, I have a couple buddies when they sign on/off it will make a cat meow or some other custom sound they've uploaded from their computer. I know you can change the IM sounds for sending and receiving IM's but you're the only person who will hear it. this is different, though, there isn't any option I can find to change the sound for signing on/off. there's a way apparently, but I can't find it and I've gone into expressions and sounds in settings.

any idea?
