What if I really like my friend's brother?

Okay. This is so confusing, I'm not joking. Ok, well, I have been friends with this girl, (she's like three years younger than me though but whatver) ever since she moved to my town and now we are best friends. And she has a brother that's my age. At first, I just thought of his as her brother, but as time went by I started to like him a lot. Ok, and now, when she's not around we will do things or play with each other and stuff. But my friend says if I ever get with her brother we wouldn't be friends anymore. But I really like being friends with her. So if you can, HELP ME OUT!!

ok well I had the same problem I am going to tell you go for it tell her that you like her brother and if you guys are really friends than she will understand that you cant control your emotions and that they just come but I would tell her than go for it and ask the brother out...I hope I could help

If you and her brother really want to be together then speak to him about what wil happen and then both sit down and discuss it with her. If she still has a massive problem with it even when you tell her that your not just fooling around and that you want to be together then you have to see whats more important, her friendship or her brother.

If she is ok with it then prove to her that you can be with him and be her best friend at the same time. dont chose him over her.

Do not let yourself to be governed in any way. Tell your best friend that you will never lay down conditions of your friendship. Firendship is rather giver and silent than pretentious. She will survive if you and her borther will be in a good relationship.

well your choice is like captainassasin said but really they should understand if she sed it when she was much younger she probably was just gorssed out by the idea try talking now like bringing up the question casually soemthing like get talking about boys and say something like 'who would be the worst person for you to get with? and who would be the worst person for me to get with in your opinion.' just an idea.

if she isn't okay with it then remember friends always come first.
