Cervical cancer injection

Hi, erm I'm meant to be having the cervical cancer injection the 1st of 3 tomorrow. I know this sounds silly but im so scared I have a major injection phobia. I was just wondering who else has had these, and how did it go?

Well my little sister had hers today and she said it was fine but it stung a little bit after. I am like you though...im terrified of needles. When I was 11 it took me 3 hours to prepare for a blood test and I've had to be gassed before to let them to do it.
Just ask your best mate to go with you and it will be fine. Just de stress if you can and try not to focus on it. I've started to get better with regular injections by doing this but blood tests still scare the hell out of me, I don't think theres really that much that can be done. My dad just tells me to man up...like yeah thanks.

Aw, thank you. Yes last November I had to go into hospital and had to be given gass before I'd even let them inject me, I wish I didnt get like that but thats just how I am. Was it just the 1st jab that she had today? I hope it doesnt hurt for too long?

I had mine and it wasnt really even sore and everyone thot it would be sore but it wasnt

ooh I had those. youll go in the person should say a couple of questions *if she asks you if your pregnant dont be offended she has 2 ask that lol* then she does it. just relax, if you tense up itll be much more painful and if you move she might have to do it again. it will be numb after but if you keep moving your arm it will get better quicker. also if people say the last injection hurts more, its not true.

when I got mine I thought it hurt a lot ! lol
I was scared when I went to get my 2nd and 3rd one.
