Censorship is now a thing of the past, thoughts?

Jeremy Goodrich yep, that's me Asked by thedude 11 months ago, 6 answers.

We still will remove something for excessively crude language. However, we're no longer filtering words (as we were for a long time). This was for those keeping score, one of the things a few people mentioned in the what do you hate most question I...

asked a long time ago.

I know, I know - there's still a ton more work to be done. However, as they say, a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, right? Hopefully you guys consider this one more step in the right direction...feedback as always appreciated.

I think it's good too a point. There were some words that were being censored that I thought weren't a big deal in the past - (a lot of things having to do with the female and male body, and things of that sort). I do agree that if a user is doing nothing but cursing other's out - of course that should be filtered. Although, when you are just giving an explanation to someone about basic body parts or functions, I dont see the harm in letting those words be typed out.

I think that somethings should be censored!!
now I can never deny that I havent tried to say the f word on this sight but it should be blocked in a question!! do you really need to ask a question with it in there five times??

I agree, some body parts were censored which didnt make much sense, but cuss words should be tho', I mean not everybody wants to read someone's filthy mouth!!! I mean one here or there, is ok I guess but some people doesn know how to be moderate with their language.
