I would like to get a pet snake, but I have three cats already. Would the cats stress out the snake too much for it to be healthy?

Depending on what snake you want to get, the snake is actually more likely to stress out your cats! Also, introducing 'new' pets to 'old' pets can be iffy; they don't always accept each other and there can be conflict! A vet or animal specialist will be able to advise you best. Snakes are really hard to look after so make sure you know what your taking on!

Cats & snakes together is asking for trouble. Cats are inquisitive animals. Unless the snake is non poisonous, its either goinh to be the cat or snake.

I personally think you should get a small gardener snake and keep it in a room your cats cant get into.

I have owned many snakes from pythons to corn snakes when I had my ball pythons my mom still had her cat because the ball pythons are so docile they will rarely strike and they are a small easy to care for python
