Cartlidge piercings

My cartlidge is inflamed a couple days after peircing it. It could be either from my ill advised visit to clairs over a tattoo shop or the fact no one told me not to wear my wet, long hair around it while it is healing. either way I am not sure what to...

do. I have a doctor's appointment in three days, but should action be taken sooner? Or should I wait it out?
My previous percing got infected too and I developed bumps around my ear despite cleaning obsessivly. perhaps my ears are just sensitive and its nothing to worry about??

hey I have like 20 peircing .. its just infected the cartilage swells up a lot cause of its location... watever you do when your cleaning it do not rotate it the crust will scrape the inner wall of the peircing an irratate it.. use a hot compress on it twice a day for 5 min and spray wit bactine .. you also need to spray it wit hot water twice a day for 15 seconds

so say I already rotated it. is there a way to reverse the damage?

it is horrible to get it done with a gun.
it can shatter your cartilage...
go to an actual piercing place which is NEVER located at a mall and ask there opinion because they know there stuff and they will give you the best advice possible.
