how much does it hurt?

on a scale of bellybutton, ear lobes, and nose. lol because I have them done.

about like a nose piercing...it wont hurt too bad...just don't think about the pain...let your mind wander a bit when they do it..

it hurts less than belly button but more than having ear lobes done

Well it depends on whether you get it done with a needle or with a gun. I strongly recommend getting it done with a needle because it's known to be safer and more hygienic. However I had mine done with a gun because I was incredibly naive hehe. With a gun it's a quick shot just like the ear lobes. It hurts less thant the belly but maybe a little more than the ear lobes. I have 6 on my cartilege and 14 on my ears all together and I have my lip bellybutton and tounge and I think cartilege hurts the least except for reg. earlobbs obviously.

your nose is probably the same and the cartilege cause of the thickness of both are about the same
