well, my boss is an orthodontist and he makes that every month if not more. we go over our monthy numbers for our production and growth goals every week so I know first hand exactly whats coming in. so become an orthodontist!!!
seriously, its so great! great hours, fun atmosphere. its not dentistry when patients are afraid to come to your office. they choose to come to us in ortho (most of the time) so it is much more rewarding and profitable than dentistry. if you want more info on it let me know bud. glad to help
oh.. and good for you for educating yourself. I love it!
There are a million jobs that pay $160,000/yr +.
Here's a hint, find a job that you like doing... and make sure it's a job with PROVABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS (usually sales, management).
Examples:
Store Manager @ JCPennys - $224,000/yr
SUCCESFUL Real Estate Agent -$300-600k/yr
Used Car Manager at your local dealership - $150,000/yr
Owner of your local Auto Body Shop - $200,000/yr
CEO of NORTHRUP/GRUMMAN - $190,000,000/yr
Police Officer - $50,000/yr starting pay
Teacher - $32,000/yr
Major University Football Coach - $1,500,000
ok nuffnuffmoo good insite but this young boy needs to think about how many hours he will be putting in too for this kind of money. a used car manager will be working from 7am-9pm...so think about that...soo soo molah but sucky hours!!! MY fiance is a CFO of a independant group. he makes very good cash and works beautiful hours. thats more like it...don't you think?
Being any kind of executive can be very rewarding, great hours, benefits and pay. I make well over 200,000/yr as the CEO of my company, however as one of only 10 employees and me as only one in management I work 6am-6pm. I'm sure I could just hire a manager or COO, but I'm very picky with my company. It takes a lot to become a executive in a company, or if you are lucky enough you can grow with a company, or join a startup and make great money.
The fact is, to make the kind of money he wants, you are going to initially put a lot of hours in and have to really be good at your job.
