I haven't had that problem, but if it's a new car, the dealership is your best friend (eg, even a factory warranty 3 weeks later will fix I, if it's broken, etc).
Call them explain what happened and I'm sure they'll take care of you. I drive a subaru legacy GT, 2006, and haven't had that issue...but, different car, etc. Our lexus SUV doesn't have that issue either, which is why I think it's probably more than just the writing on the CD that created a problem.

Car wont read?
I just bought a brand new car about three weeks ago...
Well I had a bunch of burnt cds..and they played fine and the car..but the I wrote on them , so I knew which ones where what..and now my car wont read them..
I drive a 2009 Nissan...
Sentra...anyone else had this problem?
