Cancelled credit card

Can chase cancel my credit card without notification? it has been in good standing since 2005. I usually pay off close to the full balance each month. thank you

SHort answer --- YUP!

They're ALL guilty of late of punishing otherwise GOOD customers because they're crying poor ---

I had 2 with CapitalOne that I canceled when they sent me notice they were going to DOUBLE! yes... DOUBLE my interest rates!!! Not that they were that low in the first place, but going to 29% interest rate when you've always paid things on time, and more often than not it's nearly all paid off --- makes you wonder WTF!!!

THEN they cry poor saying their losing money left and right... Hmmm... YA THINK that dumping those that are good might have SOMEthing to do with it!

Sorry to bear bad news -- but --- yup -- they can --- it's in the fine print...

...either you've met the spending limit, expired (since 2005), or you became delinquent paying your bills that next to it, you might get sued...

(may be due to fraud, too)
