Can you help me with these examples?

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
3 large eggs
6 tablespoons granulated sugar

How would I add 1/4 to those? I don't know how to?
HELP.

I guess I worded my example wrong. That is part of a recipe example in my book. Rest of the recipe, I don't feel like typing. The full recipe serves 16, the example wants us to make it serve 20. I need what I listed above ^ to do that.
