Can you have sex during pregnancy?

Can I have sex during my pregancy ,, I dont want to ask my hubby as he will give me a ten page essay lol
But if I do have sex do I need to ask him to use protection or is it ok?

yeah you can have sex. I guess you need to be more careful with positions and stuff, but shouldnt be an issue. and the only reason he would need to use protection is if he has something, or you suspect he's not being faithful and could catch something...

doctors say its good to have sexual intercourse when pregnant.

you can have sex while your pregnant. but, when you get further into your third trimester you should go easy on the sex because it could cause you to go into labor if you have an orgasm. it might not happen but it is a possibility. and, just so you know, pregnancy sex is awesome.

Definately have sex when you are pregnant. If we couldn't, we would probably start seeing a trend in sterilization. Sex can be funny and/or uncomfortable during the later months because of the giant belly. Positions will be limited. During the last few weeks, you want to refrain, because there is a chemical in sperm that will start contractions (no fun). You don't need rubbers unless he has an STD that you don't want. Tell him to go with you to the dr. and ask him/her while you are there about how safe it is to have sex. My husband didn't believe it until he heard it from someone with a PhD.
