Can you estimate somebody's high/low intelligence at a glance?
My answer is yes, I think some peculiarities of people's appearance speak for their intelligence.

As in, the lights are on but no-one's home? LOL. Yes, I've been fooled... but I like to think intelligence is mostly seen in the eyes.

I think no..
theres this boy that goes to my school and looks a bit slow(because he is)
but he's actually one of the smartest people I know...
he's just a bit slow outside of the school world(like he's obsessed with elbows and runs head first into walls kind of thing...)

Nope, not at a glance. Now after a conversation...maybe. But it is hard to tell because some people are nervous in social situations and might say things wouldn't ordinarily.

I agree with pinkpearl, that intelligence is seen in th eyes. However if I didn't have a chance to look at a girl's eyes))) I can estimate her IQ with a strong probability looking at her 1)hair 2)nails 3)clothes. All together these 3 criteria give a fantastic result!!!)))

I agree with the eyes thing. Like the deeper you can peer into them, the deeper the person is. Amazingly accurate. Maybe in the expression around the eyes as well...how well it is suited to the most subtle of nuances. Naivete has some bearing on expression as well though, and even the brightest of people when puzzled give off a disconcerting glance.

It is wonderful when two people can share a moment of epiphany or a inside joke...(or outside joke for that matter) sailing above the meaner sorts heads...lol... and share that moment without revealing a haughtiness or drawing undue attention to themselves, merely by eye contact. (Very haughty statement..sorry.)

Then you have crazy people that throw off the entire curve.

Hell, I've made a few assumptions about you just by reading your question - didn't even have to look at the photo.

Well, then I'm really glad for you, because you've succeeded to estimate my intelligence by one sentence! My congratulations! Probably you were in a bad state of mood, otherwise you would understand that people here ask questions not only to get some kinf of help, but just to learn what other people think about some stuff
P.S. I don't suffer from schizophrenia)))
