yes you could, just like smoking ,anyone can get addicted to something.
but its pretty rare, if its something that you have to have every day, and started to get withdrawel symptoms if you didnt have it, then that would be considered an addiction. otherwise you could just like it a lot!

You can pretty much get addicted to anything. I'm addicted to icecream on toast.0.o. Why do you think there are chocoholics?

I agree with the above replies but from a medical point of view, I dont think it is known as an addiction in the same way that some people are addicted to drugs and alcohol.

It has caffiene in it so you could get 'addicted' but being hooked on chocolate is a GOOD thing!

Yes you can get addicted to chocolate. My mom was a serious chocoholic. She used to eat chocolate like almost every night but now she can't anymore because she got diabetes from her bad habit. If your eating chocolates or sweets for that matter, eat it in moderation (to avoid the addiction)

YES I BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN GET ADDICTED TO CHOCOLATE, YOU KNOW THOSE DOVE CHOCOLATE CANDY? addiction is something mentally occuring.
it's not proven by any studies that it is a chemical in your brain but, you can be addicted to anything.
it doesn't necessarily have to be drugs or alcohol.

You certainly can. Addiction can be of anything. But it's espectially with alchohol, smoking, and drugs.
