the best thing you can do is change your password or/and e-mail address
also contact facebook about it

My friend went on vacation a few days ago. While she was gone someone signed into her facebook (no one knows how they got the password) and made all her friends believe she was in the hospital dying. My friend is back and is pretty sure she knows who did...

If she finds proof this person did it, can the person get in trouble for it? Would it be considered hacking (which I've heard is illegal)?
