Can some one help me connect to xbox live please?

Ok so I have a modem but it only has two conections one to hook it up to the computer and one to hook it up to the phone line so I bought this thing called a five port hub and I want to hook it up to my linksys wireless router to hook it up to my xbox...

but every time I try to install my linksys router it says im not conected to the internet oh and I hooked up my router to the five port hub thing will some one please help?

Okay, this is what I would do. Hopefully you have DSL, not dialup.

Unplug the cable that goes to the computer, plug it in port 1. What its going to do is give internet to all of the other ports. So, from there, you plug your computer into port 2, and xbox into port 3 or vice verca. If you have any more questions, hit me up.
