Well, my boyfriend is 17 almost 18 and I'm 16. My mom one day asked me if I was a virgin, and since she always complains that I never tell her anything, I said no I'm not. And she started asking all these questions like who's idea was it and what were...

you thinking. then she says, I don't want you two to go to prom....I'm not even sure i want you two together anymore. and I can't let that happen. He took my virginity from me and we only had sex twice. But she said she could have him put in jail....could she really? I'm 16 and he's 17, the legal age in Missouri is 17 and since I'm 16 does that mean it's illegal??

No she cant do that he isnt 18 yet.. And ur 16 so leagally your at the age were u can have sex. With out getting in trouble (by parents yes the law no .. lol) but no im 16 an my bf is 18 an we have had sex an no one can do anything about it if u were 15 an he was 18 then yes thats a different story,. hope this helps.

This is bad because if he gets turned in then the court can also pin in on you and try to get you a punishment out of this. Like bubux said try to tell your mom this to.

I'm not a lawyer but searching the web it doesn't look like he is guilty of statutory rape. The laws vary between the family code of different states. Missouri defines statutory rape as sex between someone who is 21 or older with some under 17. Since your BF is under 21 no worries.

No, she cant. First of all, hes not 18 so he cant get put in jail. Second of all, your 16, and your of legal age to have sex. If you were 15 JUST turning 16 they could get him for statutory rape and both of you would get put on probation. But your not, so you shouldnt have to worry about it.

he'll go to jail only if she can prove it, but she can certainly file charges, my mother did but the judge threw it out because she found out by reading my diary but didnt bring it with her. Unless he admits to it or you testify that it happened, or someone can prove it otherwise, he should be okay, especiallly because he's not yet 18
