Can I run away?

OK, I've seen tons of ' run away ' articles on here that always answer with ' don't run away in the first place unless it's real serious'. I don' want that!!! I just want straight answers on how to run away at 12 years old and if I could get arested for it. Thanks!

Yes you could, in fact that's so young that if you even get seen walking around alone down a street even in the middle of the day someone would stop you and ask what your doing.

If anything you will be gone a day before someone finds you or some crazy dude rapes you, that's about all I have to say. DON'T DO IT! If you WANT to run away, go live with different family members, claim you need a break or something, if you really are going to run away, wait till your older at least.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but it's what I had to say.

but theres really no point
your family will be worried sick, theyll probably call the poilce because they think something aweful would have happend to you.
it just causes a lot of pain that people dont need to go through
and at 12 years old, its also pretty dangerouse
also theres nothing wrong with going to the dentist
and generally theres no pain involved at all
they just check your teeth,
theyll probably clean them, or pull out one that needs to come out
but its nothing you cant handle
running away from a problem never solved it

yes you could get arrested because I was and I am 15 and my dad got into a fight and he caled the cops on me and I ran and they caught me two days later and I was arrested and it sucked@!!! but don't do it cause it just leads to more problems now and later!!! please make a good decision if you want to know more just fun mail me!!

No, you're not likely to get 'arrested' for it but you could be placed in protective custody and then placed in foster care or some other kind of care for teens.

Is your issue about going to the dentist the only reason you are contemplating running away?

Just think about it. If little kids can handle going to the dentist then you can too.

If the dentist isn't the only issue, then please post more information so that we can offer you better advice.

yea you def. get arrested if you run away and when your a kid cops will remember you a lot easier for ALONG time

but if your running away to get out of going to the dentist then youll just get into a bit of trouble
both with the police if they get involved and your parents
but its very unlikely that you or anyone would get arrested just for running away and not from doing anything worse than that

my parents sent the cops after me
EVERYONE was after me.
BUT
they didn't find me.
I ran away for couple of months and came back cus I got worried about my father and everything worked out at the end after I came home they got A LOT nicer and a whole lot easier and let me do everything I want.

It's easy to run away, just remember to not attend school. and make sure you have someone reliable to take care of you. all my friends took care of me and my boyfriend and all of his family members looked after me. I was forunate enough to have many support. GOOD LUCK

Maybe, you should get arrested because you are only 12 and I don't read enough but if is just because the dentist your your still a little girl your not enough smart. I dind't do that if I were you. Go to the dentist is nothing bad he helps you to get better smile. Or I guess you like to have your mouth all dirty. Your not going to have a boyfriend if your mouth smell like $#3t,guys don't like that. Good Luck

lol... Im 13 and I've wanted to for a while... maybe you should wait a while at least wait until someone would hire you for a job so you can make money! I've been savng for long time and have almost 200 dollars... like I said jusst wait. Im sure that whatever is making you want to run away you can deal with for a while.

And sorry but I don't want to be bad person with you, but is true. Just think about it and hope you DON'T run away for that ok!!! :-)

Don't listen to the thing about getting a job. Well at least WHILE running away because if you're under 18 your parents will notify the workplace and everything and they will get you

no you will go to juvy I ran away and ended up staying in juvy for about a week

you can go to jail... I know it's not what you wanted to hear but DO NOT DO IT!!! it's just the age I swear it'll pass... I've wanted to run away many times before (I'm 13 been there, done that) what I do is I just go up in my room or someplace where you can be alone for longs periods of time (lock your door), wrap yourself up in a blanket and take some deep breaths, screaming out your anger at nothing helps too, it gets out the anger, and you dont hurt anyone's feelings, listen to yoga music and take some deep breaths do some sun salutations... they calm you down.. I also write poetery while listening to soft music (it's just stupid free verses but you get my point...) it really helps

also... is this just because you have to go to the dentist??!! it's a fear, just going will help you get over it... if it's more then just the dentist, fun mail me and I'll give you my email, im good at this stuff.
