Q: Can I remove my puppies stitches?
My puppy was spayed and she needs to have her stitches removed. they are the metal kind and look pretty easy to remove. is this something that I can do myself?
A: No...you don't want to do it at home. Most Vets count removal of staples as part of the spaying charge. You want the Vet to SEE the wound, to make sure it's as healed as it should be & that there is no sign of infection.
You'd feel pretty crappy, if you did it yourself, and things went wrong...not mention what was a "free" service, could become a costly "repair job".
