Yup. Getting piercings are to show it off. But not right after. Wait untill it healed and you can show off your beloved piercings. I hit to the pool after about 2 months of my navel piercings. Wait for it to heal okay?
I think its better for you to wait for it to heal. Dont take the risk.
But anyway, you can always make the healing period shorter. Keep it clean and dry. Its important. ^^
I just got mine done last friday
july 18th, im so sad I want to go swimming but I've wanted the peircing forever as long as I can remember lol.. wouldnt lakes have more bateria than pools, expecially a regular clorine pool?? that stays clean?? hmmm.. salt water well heck knock yourself out! but im not sure if the lake or river or PONDS are safe lol.. just wait! The proffesional who pierced mine told me wait 30 days! and I can go swimming, so I'll have to run my advice to you, wait 30 days, but if theres a steaamy humid hot day go swimming! and clean it out after wards do it three times asap when you get home, and you are aware of that you can always dangle your feet in the water just keep your bellie button dry
thats what I plan doing... hope my advice helps
xoxo

Can I go swimming if I just got my belly peirced?
Send me Fun Mail
I got my belly button peirced on wednesday and its monday right now and I wanted to go swimming this weekend but im afraid that itll get infected becuase they told me to wait a couple months until it is healed but the whole point in getting your peircing is to show it off in the pool. Do you think if I go swimming on friday it will get infected? Even if its been passed a week by then?
