Can I go swim if im on my period?? Im 14 and I have swimming lessons today and I need them I seriously dont know how to swim, so duh I need it. I have a private instructor and I dont swim with other people sooo can I swim if im on it??? If not then what...

do I do!

Yea you can, just wear a tampon. you should be fine.

Hm, Then thats different. If you wear pads while going swimming, thats not really good, you could and probably will leak. and they get all swollen. gross. Have you ever tried using a tampon?

DONT use a pad while swmming. try to use a tampon. its really not hard at all. if you cant then you may have to skip swimming.

a pad may fall off if you go swimming
besides, it would be really nasty to go swimming wearing a pad.
its best to wear a tampon :]

I can't wear tampons because I have Toxic Shock Syndrome...so if that's what you have then you can't go swimming...wearing a pad is absolutely disgusting...I've tried it so believe me there, haha.
If you can't wear a tampon because it scares you or something then I don't know what to tell you, sorry sad ...being a girl sucks sometimes, lol.

I have had my period before and I have gone swimming wearing nothing and I have never leaked... so go swimming but if you don't feel uncomfortable then don't talk to your parents.

you can wear a pad in the water makw sure it has wings it will stick I did it on my period I was fine.
