Can i get married at 16?

I WANT TO GET MARRIED I dot want to be told I should wait or any of that just if I can without parental consent how and where?

Everywhere in the US you must have parental consent if you're under 18. You can't get around it legally and if you would it wouldn't be considered a legal marriage because your paperwork was not legally complete.

wait 2 more years. its only like 1/45th of your life just waiting 2 more years.

besides. it wouldnt hurt to see if you and this guy last that long.

maybe the reason people say your too young, is cause maybe they have a point...

you havent lived as long as they have, gone through the experiences they have, lived as long as they have...just think about it. dont start thinking in your head right now ' 'ah your just like them, you dont know what im going through, you sound just like them' '

and if you want to get married under the age of 18 you need both parental consent and a good reason
most couples get turned down and are told to wait untill there 18

The reason everyone is saying the same thing is NOT because everyone is against you and doesnt want you to be happy- come on think about it! Let me guess- your mature for your age, nobody knows what its like, you can do what you want, yeh- I know. honey, we have all been there and there is a reason the age is 18- because love (infatuation) is very powerful -especially at a young age. If it wasnt- you wouldnt feel so compelled to get married right away. Remember- the choices you make today affect you tomorrow

It is possible to get married at 16 without parental consent. I don't recommend you get pregnant, but it is easier to get married at 16 without parental approval if you are pregnant.
