First of all, how long have you been dating the new guy? This question could answer everything. Second, if you are under 16 forget about it! It would be the worst mistake you could ever make. Matter of fact, you should probably hold off until you feel that he is 'the one'; at least your first love. I had friends who thought they were ready but after words it was the most tragic thing they ever did. You will always look back at who your first was so make damn sure you know without a doubt that you want him to be 'the guy'. Birth control needs to be a major factor before doing it and NEVER HAVE SEX WITHOUT PROTECTION!!!

Condom would be enough for now.. once you become more sexually active you should get birth control pills though (= && don't listen to crzygrl.. there's NOTHING wrong with sex @ 16.. just don't be like me && get pregnant @ such a young age tho! (= lol

A Condom is not completely effective when it comes to birth control. You can still become pregnant. Use a second form of protection with it. Go to the Drug Store and ask what would be the best to use.

When it comes to birth control its about 98/99% effective so yeah you're pretty much covered, but I really would use pills just to be sure...

haha 2 condoms. ha. I have had one break in me before. it sort of burst and hurt big time (not that you wanted to know) anyway I would be using birth control if I were you and condoms. the birth control is for the unwanted pregnancy and the condy is for the std's. be safe xx

Hey dillonsmommy1023,

Try reading your response to this person before posting it. You're not helping this person by stating that it's okay to have sex at such an early age. When you are young your hormones overload your brain hince not thinking about the concequences that you're dealing with now. Sure every teenager is going to have sex, my point was to totally make 100% sure that you are protected and that it is the right one.
