Can i fix my phone ?

I was at the beach and my lg vu phone got wet and I let it dry out for like 2 days and now it turns on but it wont read my sim card now but my sim card works in other phones is there anything I can do to fix this ? pleasee help

I was told if you put your phone in a bowl of rice it will take most of the water out of your phone

you should go to a phone shop and just ask them about it.
they should tell you what to do or where to go to fix it.
