I know for me there have been times where I put a new one in then someone asks me to hang out or something so I go shower, no point in taking a perfectly new tampon out just because you're going in for a shower. It doesn't start to stink if the tampon is clean.

ok..thnx!..I was just wondering because otherwise it makes a mess and I leak a lot after I'm done and when I'm drying off...I was just scared the string would break off and stuff...but thanks!

Yes you can but its best not to bcoz it wont get clean down there and you will smell , if down the a break of tampons and pads while your in the shower

Yes it's fine, but try taking it out, then hopping in the shower. Make sure you have a new one right by the shower for when your finished. Then you can just grab the new one, put it in (while your still standing in the shower, with the water off), and you wont have to worry about leaking everywhere while you dry off. It is good to give yourself a break down there and the shower is the best place to do it since you can wash it all down the drain!
