Can my boyfriend get arrested if my parents tell just for going out with me since im only 14?

if he is over the age of 18 yes he can. but remeber age is just a number. and its just another one of those stupid rules. the best thing to do is just to keep it on the down low.

Yeah he can go to jail if he is 17 or over some people may think 18 and over. If your parents have proof that you are sexually active with this guy he will get in deep trouble.

If your parents say he is raping you, or you guys are having non-consensual sex, then yeah, but if your parents do not mind, and nothing is going on, then no problem. :]

No where in there does it say they are having sex. If he is above the age of 17(treated as an adult in cases dealing with sex in most states) then the only way he could potentially go to jail is if you two have sex.

The age of consent varies state by state (Michigan is once you hit 16, you can have sex with whomever you please). Despite popular belief(which is wrong) there is NO federal law saying you have to be 18. That mostly comes from TV shows,which we all know how accurate those are(end sarcasm)

If you google age of consent you'll find a few sites listing the age of consent for all 50 states (I even found one site that had the age of consent for the entire world...did you know in some countires 12 is the age of sexual consent, creepy isn't it). I just looked it up, and GA age of consent is also 16. 16 happens to be the age of consent in a majority of the states (all but maybe 5 or 6) and in some states, the age difers between men and women (in South Carolina, a male can have sex legally with anyone at 14, however a female can't have sex till she's 17 there...makes sense doesn't it?) avert.org/aofconsent was the site I refrenced from, but there are other sites that go more in depth into explaining the law.
