Can anyone please tell me with my two conictions which are felons

I live in Columbus Ohio and served my time for two felon convictions. its been almost 10 years ago. not been in trouble since then, is there any way I can work as a nurse aide ever again which I have worked in the health field for over 20 some years and...

if not that then where could I get a descent paying job where they would give me just one more chance to prove how much I have truly changed..please help me if you can..thank you so very much. any help would be so appreciated..

as they said it depends on what your felonies were for.
some hinder your ability to get a job more so then others.

It also depends heavily on which state you actually live in. Your question says Ohio but your profile says New York.

In Virginia, you cannot work in any field that requires a state issued professional license.

In other states, you might find work in your field but probably not if your felonies are for drugs.

It sucks, since you are directly affected by this, write to your political representatives, join groups that promote better conditions for felons, and if you live in a state where you can vote then do so.
