Can anyone help me find this song please?

I have been trying to find out who sings this song for a long time. The band itself is alternative rock. They remind me of three days grace and their song, "wake up". The song goes something like, "when the night is calling" OR "when the night is falling". I'm not sure which it is. The song was very popular back in 2002-2003. It rarely comes on the radio. I believe the song is called exgirlfriend, but I can't seem to find it. Please, can anyone help me find this song?
