Calories & metabolism question

Me surfing in Oahu Asked by oceanh3ro about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

I have a question,
(obviously) rofl.
Uhm, I eat about 500-700 cals. a day (I KNOW...not enough etc.etc.)
but if I burnt 1,000-1,500 a day, then would that keep my metabolism up?
cause I know if you dont eat too much it slows down, but if I exercised...

that much, would it still be fast?

Not really, to increase it the most you would have to eat more and burn off even more, Then slowly build up off what your starting out with. The more you can eat in a day and burn off the faster the metabolism will run on its own. So over the next couple weeks increase your calorie count to 1000-1250 and increase how much you burn off to 2000.

Don't worry about getting fat because as long as you burn off more then you eat you wont gain fat, maybe abit of muscle and tone but no fat.

no!!!

that's WRONG!!

you don't do it like that
I read somewhere that if you eat 1200 a day, and burn 450-550 cal a day, then that leaves you with enough calories left in your system to keep you going in a day, AND, your body naturally burns calories itself. you know, walking, running, sitting, doing anything.. but you need to run on some calories otherwise you're anorexic (in the burning more than eating scale - not the not eating enough thing)
see?
