Call all creative people

I am on a committee that is haveing a christmas party, we always buy gifts for the kids and keep it cheap, so my idea this year is to get all the kids two movie tickets to the local movie theater and set up a arts and crafts table and fill a jar up...

with little candy canes and give the winner a present who guess closest to the number. Please help with any other ideas for kids. I would say from 3-12 years of age. Any Ideas?

your ideas are so awesome! I would add something like, have them write a small christmas book for anyone who likes to write! the book can be about anything for christmas.

~Bake lots of gingerbread shapes like christmas trees, candy canes, bells etc, and get the kids to decorate them with icing and maybe little sweets.

~Have them write letters to Santa

~Get some huge pieces of paper and do a mural of what christmas is to the children. Alternatively, draw or paint a huge christmas tree shape, and have the children draw, paint or stick on bits and pieces as decorations

~Play the team game rob the nest, only call it something like Deliver the presents and replace the balls with brightly coloured boxes.
