Bumps or sumthing

me and my boyfriend are bout 2 have sex 4 da first time as soon as he get bac from vacation but im scared 2..not because he'd leave me or use me but because when I shave I get these bumps down there...and they look really gross..im scared if what he'll think...I dont want him to think I have sum kind of disease or sumthin but im embaressed 2 tell him about it...what if he doesnt beleave me and thinks I have herpes or sumthin..HELP!!

Hey girl... Dont stress about that. It happens to me as well. All it is is ingrown hair. I know that it looks ugly but you want to look and feel clean. So thats something that he needs to understand if he loves you. make sense? I've told my man and he has actually seen it, but it aint no biggie to him. I am actually going to the doctor soon to question him about that. How does it come out??? But yeah, dont worry ok? If anything you shoukd be worried about him? Why? Well because of who has met during his trip. Do you know? Will you know? You never know right? Exactly.

Sounds like you have ingrown hairs and irritation. Here are some helpful tips.

1. If you have long pubic hair, trim with clippers or scissors before using a razor for the close shave.

2. Take a hot bath beforehand, it opens your pores and allows you to get a closer shave.

3. Before applying shaving cream, rinse the area with cool water.

4. Apply shaving cream a few minutes before shaving to soften hairs. Consider using a shaving cream with additional moisturizer or aloe.

5. Be sure to use a new blade, the more times you go over an area the more likely you are to irritate it.

6. When shaving, stroke an area no more than twice to reduce skin irritation. On the first stroke, go "with the grain" to remove most of the hair, then go "against the grain" for a smooth, close shave. If "going against" tends to irritate you, then skip that and use both strokes "with the grain."

7. Be sure to clean the area afterwards with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection, especially if you cut yourself.

8. Some people find a daily application of baby powder or talcum powder especially helpful after shaving to keep the area dry and irritation-free.
