Yes, black and brown do match but it also depends on your style and fashion sense. Some people may not like the way the two hues go together while others love it. For me, if I was to wear those colors for clothes I wouldn't ever wear brown pants/skirts with a black shirt but I would wear black pants and a brown shirt. Its really what you prefer.
