Brithcontrol

Asked by sarakat 10 months ago, 5 answers.

How should I tell my mom that I want to be on brithcontrol?

She told me that I should talk to her bout those kinda of things but she is not my real mom and it feels so weird to talk to her bout anything.

You could just be honest, and be like mom im getting to that age, and im not planning on having sex, but I want to be safe.. just in case... OR.. You could tell her your period is really irregular, and you heard BC will help it or even stop it...
Thats what I did... actually I told my mom that I had a irreg period, and she suggested it...
haha good luck..
Im sure if she told you to be open about this kind of thing, she will be cool about it.. you'll be fine

Good for you for thinking about birth control. But also realize that BC pills are not completely effective until you have been on them for a whole month. Talk to the doctor about it. If you can't afford a doctor, or don't have a doctor Planned Parenthood can probably help you.
Good Luck!!
