Bright colored frosting

My birthday party is this Saturday and I want to make some sugar cookies and put peace signs on them with frosting.

My question is.. How can I make BRIGHT colored frosting? The colors you buy are pretty but they aren't quite bright enough for me.

If you're using the regular liquid food colouring you get in the grocery store, you'll never get vibrant colours.

You need a paste type food colouring like Wilton offers...it's a concentrated colouring and will make your colours bright.
