I wouldn't breed your dogs unless you plan on keeping the puppies or already have homes for them. the only way to know if they would be okay is to ask a vet.
yeah its ok to breed them and yes your female will be fine and have a natural birth but do you already have familys for the puppies and do your female and male have all there shots if there healthy then the puppies will be healthy also so just take good care of them and if your female ends up pregnant also take good care of her shes going to want more attention from you guys so give it to her and she will be happy lol !!
btw do you have pictures of the soon to be parents?
good luck let me know how it turns out!!
WHY do you WANT to breed two already cross bred dogs...The world is FULL of unwanted puppies, dogs, kitten, and cats...They die by the millions daily...
Don't contribute to an already unsolvable problem...well, it might be solvable if people would quit breeding dogs FOR FUN.
p
we have enough dogs on this planet.dont bring more in!
No, it's not ok to breed your dog together with another one 'just because'.
If you understood the canine over population in the US right now, you'd gasp for air, not to mention that dedicated breeders generally take much time and consideration, combined with knowledge, to try to breed the best qualities into their puppies.
What you are suggesting is a mere experiment to suit your own personal pleasure. I'm soirry, but it's terribly, irresponsible, quite selfish, and you'd only be adding to the over population problem.
Please have your dog spayed.
Okay, I just asked a simple question. Yes or no would have sufficed! Just to let all of you know, I have been asked by over five people for puppies, when I breed my dog. I am not running a puppy mill, and I am not doing it for the money. So just keep all your negative remarks to yourselves, and just answer the question simply. I also did not ask about over population. I have rescued two dogs from the local humane society, so I know that there are unwanted dogs in the world. Thanks for all the negative remarks!
okay, but no tell them to go to the shelter and get one it may be negative but its the truth, you would be the reason pups die in the shelter if you bring more in cause your takeing away a home that could of went to them...sorry I know I let my cat breed because I thought her kittens would be cute, well she got ill well preg.it was 1,000 dollars at the vets to save her life and she lost her kittens I was stupid,I felt so cruel I got her fixed and well never go threw that again it was heart breaking...there is enough cute pups and kittens.
pets are healthier and live longer if they are spayed/neutered. please, please spay/neuter your animals. there are enough unwanted puppies/cats in the world. kill shelters exist because of the unwanted litters of animals. your friends should adopt existing animals just as you adopted animals from your humane society. also, I wonder why you pets were not neutered by the humane society before you adopted them.

Can I breed these dogs safely?

I wanted to know if it was okay to breed my 12lb. male chi terrier to my 10lb chi toy terrier female. It's not that much of a difference in weight. Do you think that the female will be okay, or do you think that she might need a c-section?
