through your nose, with a scarf loosely wrappd around your face, so its warmer air that you breathe.
I think
you might just suffocate, lol
yes, breathe through your nose not your mouth... its taking in breath trough your mouth that will make your chest hurt if the air is cold.
Dear nolimit1,
Growing up in Northern Ontario Canada I walked in the cold most of my childhood. Putting a scarf up to your face and breathing through this a good way. Several times I've been caught without a scarf and would breath through my hair...must be long enough of course. Putting a glove or mitten over your mouth also. Pull your jacket up over your mouth and nose. The point is something over the mouth and remember there will be moisture and this may freeze if it gets too cold...then go inside.
Sue...good luck

How do you breathe while walking in the cold?

how do you breath while walking in the cold so that you won't inhale so much cold air in your lungs.
