Break it to him gently?

I've liked this guy for 2 months. He asked me out on 6/15/09. I've wanted a boyfriend for a while and now that I have one I don't want one. We've been going out for two weeks and now we are on our third. I want to break up with him because . . . ...

1. We dont see each other
2. When we talk on the phone it's not fun
3. He doesn't have a phone so he uses his friends' phones and I'm not looking all over the entire city for him

We were on the phone the other day and said he was sick so that's why he hadn't talked to me for a while. Uh huh right well his friend was
In the back ground saying he has mono and that he shouldn't have kissed that one girl a few days ago.

I like him but I don't like him. You know before I went with him I thought it would be so fun and exciting but it's not. It's not healthy to be in a relationship like this. I need some way to tell it to him gently cause I'm not one to break a heart so I need a easy way for me and him.
