Some guys do like it, some guys don't have a personal preference, and some prefer if you'd just keep it trimmed.

Not everyone shaves it, because it becomes very red, bumpy, and itchy.

Waxing already hurts - waxing that area hurts insanely more. For just a trial of what the smallest portion of the feeling is like, try plucking out one hair from there. Then imagine all that at once, and forcefully.

I shave in the shower everyday and you don't get the bumps after awhile. Much easier then getting waxed.

For me getting a brazilian doesn't hurt all that much. There is only one spot that hurts a little bit but the pain only lasts like a second or two.

I think getting waxed is much better than shaving. Regrowth from shaving there is really really itchy!
