yea its totally normal give it a week and if anything still feels funny(u know your body the best) go to the orthodontist and see whats up...I had braces for two years and your teeth are going to be sensitive after every appointment...so take some tylonal or asprin to helps with the pain :] it works

i dun smile much... so here's my best one! Answered by butterfly_kiss3z on Aug 19, 2008, 10:18AM

yupps!! it's compleatly normal for your teeth to hurt while eating, if you've recently just got braces, don't woryy it bugged me too!! it takes awhile to get use to! but if you have a wiggly tooth, you might want to counsult your ortodontist about that!! cause I think that can effect the outcome of straight teeth! - I'm not too sure, but it's better to tell him or her, then just to keep it quite! **tip: if your braces are pinching you lip/gums or cutting them, it's helpful if you carry Orajel and ask your ortodontist for wax!! it really helps =)
