Why are boys so confusing?

this boy who I'm friends with I had a crush on ahd my friend told me to tell him. so I did he said he didn't like me back so I let go of it buti hadn't told him that but he told about 3 people I have a huge crush on him so I told him I was over him my friend says the reason he's doing this is because he does like me and the other day he called my house & my mom answered and he later said he meant to call his own house but my mom said I must have been on his mind and before I was over him when high school musical 2 came out he was at his house having a family get together and I was at my house it was like at 8 pm & we were watching the move & talking over my walky talkys when it came to the the picnick the (romantic seen) I'm not sure because he made it confusing but I think he kind of asked me out to a picnick on the 4th of july then cancels right after he asks I think. I'm confused does he like me or not? what should I do to get rid of this problem? help please and thank you

It sounds like he likes you, but seems very shy about it all like most boys are lol so I agree with 'shiizy99' go for it girl!
