Why does my boyfriend want a break?

he broke up with me and he told me the he needed a break and i asked him for how long and he said a couple of months what do u think he is going to do...and we have been going out for 3 years and he said he didnt want to move on and he needed a break for...

Ok, help me out here...you posted a question a day ago about not being able to have a baby with your HUSBAND! Now you are talking about your BOYFRIEND just breaking up with you! Are you married and have a bf on the side, or were you just making up a story about trying to have a baby with your husband, when it was really your bf?

From my experience with breaks is, it usually means they dont wanna be in the relationship anymore. Its just a nice way of ending things! 3 yrs is a long time to be with one person, and he probably is feeling cramped, because he might want to go out and explore other options!
You have been with this guy now for 3 yrs, why couldnt you have asked HIM point blank why he needs a break? Its called communication! When he says break, does he mean, no talking, no seeing each other, or what? If he loved you, no matter what he is going through right now, he didnt have to take a break from you!
