making him leave. so even if it is my fault what could be done? because she doesnt want him to get in trouble and doesnt want anything bad to happen to either of them

If he is hitting you then he is breaking the law. You can file an official complaint and even get him arrested. Make this clear to her and to him and tell them that if he comes over again, you'll call the cops.
