Boy with big belly bloat

Today I drank 4 litres of water. I got extremely bloated. My stomach just grew and grew and became so hard. Is it bad for you. Can I drink 3 litres of water every day. The bloat was awesome. I can take the biggest pair of pants I own, put them on, pull...

them up over my belly button and expand my bell. Then let go of the pants and they don't fall down. Please give advice. Is it what its like to be fat for a day. I am 14 years old and a boy and have a fairly big belly

For heavens sakes, why are you drinking all that water? Especially if you also eat salty things, it's bound to bloat you!
So... cut down on the salt (for a while at least) and drink your water in small sips throughout the day. Don't guzzle it. That should help.

That is way too much. You should drink 2 litres a day ideally not 4! You are putting yourself at risk because of your party trick. Drinking more water than recommended has many problems and in the long term can even cause the brain to swell and death.

Drinking that much water can cause serious damage to your body.

You get what is called Water Intoxication. It can KILL you.

Very good Mandyloo. Exactly what I was getting ready to say. Did you learn that reading about babies and water? That's how I first heard about 14 years ago!!
Just as Mandyloo said, you can develop water intoxication and it can be deadly.
you need only the 8 glasses of day that is so frequently recommended.

Actually, I learned about that during my drug years when I used to do xtc all the time. When you are onl xtc - you drink massive amounts of water - but you have to be careful not to drink too much. In fact - most people dont' overdose on xtc - they die from water intoxication.
